Why are the tips of my nails clear?

Ok, so I have strong nails. And I would even say they are healthy. But sometimes the tips of them will become clear or cloudy. Why?

It sounds like a fungus to me, my mother started having an issue of nail clouding and her doctor found it was a fungal infection in the nail bed. Have your doctor look at it he can prescribe an antidote appropriate for the type you may have. Mom's never returned after her treatment. :) Good Luck!
