Use a stronger adhesive, they have them at any beauty supply store. Then apply a thin line of adhesive at the base of your nails every few days after the initial application, and coat your nails with clear nail polish on both the outside and inside of the nail. If none of this works, try other artificial nail options, such as acrylic nails (very realistic and long-lasting, but you'll need to go to a salon).
is it a full nail glue-on or a french white tip?
if its a full nail, then you should avoid contact with water.
touching a lot of water can make the glue-on nail rise on your real nail, and eventually you pick it off.
if it's a french white tip, make sure you buff it in and use a LOT of glue, and avoid a lot of contact with water :)
