Why is easier to shave and cut the nails after a shower?

do the hair pores and the nails soften? That happens to me.

Also the air in bathroom becomes humid. I forget that the mirror becomes blurry, the shaving is perfect. Why is easier to shave and cut the nails after a shower?
hair%26amp;nails don't have any pores, per se, such as those in our skin, but there are air spaces which absorb water when we bathe. anything that becomes water-logged softens (try soaking a very hard piece of week old bread in liquid - pretty mushy, huh?) the air becomes humid because the steam from the hot/warm shower water can not escape, it stays in the bathroom - humidity is the amount of moisture in the air, therefore: steam(water vapor)+bathroom air = humidityWhy is easier to shave and cut the nails after a shower?
the hot water helps soften the nails and the stream from the shower softens the the hair on your face thus making it easier to shave.
Yes, it is true, to shave and cut the nails.
Hot water softens the nails as well as the hair and of course soap helps a lot. It smoothes the skin.
Yes, the water softens the nails and makes them easier to clip.
